Community

Joule believes in being active and engaged in our community. Team members take part in numerous service projects as a company and on an individual basis.

Habitat for Humanity

Since 2011, we have been working closely with Houston Habitat for Humanity on an ongoing basis on home build projects in the Milby Park and Harrel Park Subdivisons, two underserved neighborhoods in suburban Houston. These projects were among several in the neighborhood sponsored by Hess Corporation, Marathon Oil Corporation, Isla Carroll Turner Friendship Trust and students from the University of Houston. Our work with Habitat for Humanity gives us the opportunity not only to give back, but also to work side-by-side with others in a hands-on effort to make our community a better place.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Our team has long supported the efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a research and treatment facility for catastrophic diseases in children. We are proud to be continuing sponsors of local and national fundraising events benefiting St. Jude’s.

YPE Houston 3rd Annual Clay Shoot for a Cause
Joule will be joining Houston area energy companies as a Gold Sponsor of the Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) 3rd Annual Clay Shoot for a Cause benefitting St. Jude on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Last year’s event raised more than $20,000 for the children of St. Jude’s and we hope to considerably improve on those fundraising efforts this fall.

FedEx St. Jude Classic
The FedEx St. Jude Classic is one of the oldest continuously operated stops on the PGA Tour, and the tournament has raised more than $26 million for its sole charity beneficiary, St. Jude’s. Joule was proud to support St. Jude’s as a hole sponsor in October 2013 and looks forward to lending annual sponsorship support to future tournaments.

Midcontinent GPA Golf

On May 6, 2014, Joule joined the Midcontinent GPA as a sponsor for its annual charity golf tournament at the Rose Creek Golf Club in Edmund, Oklahoma. Proceeds from the tournament benefitted the Midcontinent GPA’s scholarship fund for local university students.
