Joule Processing's engineering and operational leader Chuck Laughter has 28 years of experience leading and growing project organizations to deliver value to our customers. His expertise includes project and program organization and leadership, client relationship management and third-party relationship management (e.g. vendors and fabricators), and his technical background is I&E engineering and automation. Mr. Laughter has managed large teams including project managers, engineers, designers, procurement, shop and field personnel and subcontractors.
From 2010 into 2014, Mr. Laughter served in various operational and business line leadership roles at Audubon Engineering, LLC. Most recently, he was responsible for the Midstream Business Line as Vice President, Midstream. Prior to Audubon, from 2000 into 2010 Mr. Laughter led the Projects Business Unit at Wilson-Mohr, Inc., where he had responsibility for all facets of project execution and sales as Vice President, Projects while also serving on the Corporate Board of Directors and Advisory Boards. Prior to Wilson-Mohr, Mr. Laughter began his career with General Electric in 1986, and in 1989 joined what became Honeywell Process Solutions, where he held various positions into 2000. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Laughter has gained experience in the oil and gas, chemical processing, refining, power gen, food and pharmaceutical and thermal processing industries. Through his career Mr. Laughter has gained perspective as the end user, manufacturer, project integrator and project engineer. His experience has also included project development in all regions of North America and internationally.
Mr. Laughter is a member of the Houston Gas Processors Association (GPA) and the National Energy Services Association (NESA). He earned a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1988.
