Joule Processing co-founder Daniel Kennedy has cutting-edge skills in plant design, installation and start-up for refrigeration plants, amine plants, gas to liquids plants, J-T plants, dehydration plants, bio-diesel plants and compressor stations. His expertise includes facilities design and cost analysis for pipeline, plant and compressor facilities; process control and plant automation; process modeling and simulation technologies; complemented by a comprehensive knowledge of ASME standards. Daniel has managed large teams including engineers, shop and field personnel, draftsmen, electricians and subcontractors.
From 2007 to 2009, Daniel was the Director of Process Engineering at Plant Process Equipment, Inc. and a Project Manager for a large biodiesel refinery in East Texas. From 2005 to 2007, he served as a Pipeline Process Engineer for J-W Operating Company, where he worked in pipeline and gathering system operations and managed gas processing facilities in East Texas, North Louisiana, Southern Wyoming and Eastern Colorado. Prior to J-W Operating Company he worked with PPE, developing a 12MM gallon/year biodiesel plant in Cleburne, Texas.
Daniel is a member of the Houston Gas Processors Association (GPA). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
