James Ducote

Consultant, Business Development

Mr. Ducote joined Joule Processing in 2011. Jim is a seasoned executive with more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry.  He brings Joule Processing broad expertise in natural gas marketing, contract negotiations and project management of complex gas and power agreements. 

Jim served as Director of Business Development for Enterprise Product Partners, Enterprise Texas Pipeline from 2004 to 2009. At Enterprise, he identified and negotiated long-term contracts generating more than $100 million in revenue. From 2002 to 2004, Jim was a consultant for Kinder Morgan, researching the take away capabilities of major Texas pipelines and providing recommendations for emerging liquefied natural gas projects. Prior to Kinder Morgan, Jim was Vice President of Marketing at American Electric Power Company and Vice President of Power Development at Enron.

Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from St. Mary’s University and completed the Executive Management program at Washington University.
