Sulfur Recovery Solutions
A significant amount of natural gas being brought into production requires hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal, in which, Joule’s Amine plants are used to treat the inlet gas flows. Consequently, sulfur removal processes often require further disposal of H2S, in which, we offer two solutions:
Sulfur Injection Units
Disposal of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) by injection into underground formations. Our sulfur injection units provide a safe means for H2S disposal.
Sulfur Recovery Units (Modified Stretford Process)

Click to EnlargeOur sulfur recovery Stretford plants are used to convert hydrogen sulfide (H2S) into a usable product, elemental sulfur. Typically, this product is utilized for fertilizer applications. Our Sulfur Recovery units are custom designed and constructed as a simple and less expensive alternative to a Claus conversion process.
